BIAS - How Pervasive Is It?

According to Google, we receive 11 million bits of information every moment, and we can only consciously process 40 bits in that timeframe. 

In other words, 99.999996% of what our minds process is unconscious. 

Thus, we must accept that we are processing blind. 

And, realizing the extent to which we are processing “blind” begs the question of when and how to “open our eyes” to the nuances, judgements, situational realities, and potential misconceptions that infiltrate our work, based on blind processing. 

Just think of the competitive advantage to be gained with each percentage point shift to insightful processing …
