Coaching

Grounded in our proprietary Career Fitness® Coaching Model we deliver fully customized coaching programs designed to bring out the elite best of your talent — from developing high-potential leadership to accelerating executive readiness. Our methodology is:

Research-Based
We apply evidence from behavioral science, organizational psychology, and leadership development research to ensure our coaching is anchored in what works. Often the research provides motivation for behavioral change, helping to solidify a potential course of action when nothing else has worked. 

Data-Driven
Assessments like 360 feedback, performance reviews, work style profiles, and defined KPIs, help us set the stage and track development — making progress visible and measurable. This data-driven approach helps to realize ROI. According to Korn Ferry (2020), “Leaders in data-driven coaching programs improved target behaviors at five times the rate of those in unstructured programs.” [— Korn Ferry Institute (2020). Consultative
We partner closely with HR, business leaders and the client to directly align coaching goals with business strategy, culture, and context.  We coach beyond the soft skills, working to solve work challenges proactively, and watching how the strategies net results in the specific organizational context. Using this approach, we can help individuals better realize their impact and pivot for positive results. 

Action-Oriented
Our sessions drive momentum. Each conversation translates insight into action, with a strong emphasis on specific next steps to move forward. And, while we strive for direct application in real, current situations, we also prompt reflection to motivate intention and long-term change. According to the Center for Creative Leadership,“Clients who set action-oriented goals are 33% more likely to report behavioral change.”  We shape a synergistic combination to drive short term impact and long term effectiveness. 

Habit-Forward
Lasting individual development is built on behavior, not just insight. Sustainable transformation happens through small, consistent changes — not event-based solutions. Our coaching empowers clients to build daily habits that compound over time into remarkable results.  We frequently employ the research of James Clear in Atomic Habits (2018) who shares, “Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement. The effects of your habits multiply as you repeat them.” By focusing on long-term behavior change — not just short-term insight — we help leaders become fitness-minded, like elite athletes, developing the mindsets and routines that drive measurable performance and enduring success.

Workshops

Sometimes it’s better to level up a group or cohort, than to work with a single individual.  We have designed a unique Career Fitness® group approach to help groups identify shared interest/motivation and spark mutual development and career growth.  

Beginning with our Career Fitness approach, we designed a unique group learning model called PowerUP, which drives a highly interactive and motivating sprint to fuel specific actions and raise the bar on performance.  While we often customize to meet specific needs, think of a PowerUP Sprint as a team of 10 people completing 4 sessions (~2 hours) over 4 weeks, each with assessment, research, action-planning and accountability.  We have a few standard offerings, or we can create a topic to meet your needs.

Research-Based
We use our Career Science® approach to combine behavioral science, organizational psychology, and leadership development research to design for practical, actionable learning based on proven best practices. 

Data-Driven
Each session begins with a behavioral assessment to help learners focus on the most important levers for change.  We’ve found that this data driven approach is highly motivating to the group, bringing clarity on perspectives and supporting targeted growth.  

Consultative
As in individual coaching, we spend time moving from theory to practice and addressing the specific challenges raised in session.  Working with the group allows peers to confirm the challenges and provide nuanced suggestions for moving forward. 

Action Oriented
Every session ends by sharing insights gained, and committing to actions before the group meets again.

Habit Forward
Finally, we work on the mindset of intentionality to shift insights into motivating routines for long-term success.
